New York City’s Emancipation Day Freedom March and Program

Board Member Minnie Curry organized a special feature of the July 7 Emancipation Day event, a display of quilts and dolls by a group of primarily African American specialists from several organizations including the Manhattan Doll Club, the 3D Doll Club of Mount Vernon and the Quilters of Color Network New York.
